Malaysian Alliance of Corporate Directors celebrated its 14th anniversary with a Members Networking Session on 17 March 2023 at AC Hotel by Marriott. The event started with a heartwarming welcome for members, recognizing the founders and the work of MACD to date.
The agenda included a welcome address by Adjunct Professor Paul W Chan, the President & Co-Founder of MACD, and a VIP Keynote by Michael Marquardt, President Biden’s appointee to the US Commission for Preservation of American Heritage Abroad, Chair of American Cancer Society, and Director of MACD.
The celebration included a cake-cutting ceremony and updates from MACD on their 2022 wrap-up montage of events and programs, as well as the 2023 Director Training Programs and Events. The event also included a dialogue on corporate governance, with a panel consisting of moderator Reinushini Chandrasegaram, Chair of Professional Development at MACD and panel members Adjunct Professor Paul W Chan, and Datuk William Ng, Directors of MACD.
