In line with Bursa Malaysia’s enhanced sustainability reporting framework, unveiled on 26 September 2022 and the mandatory sustainability disclosures for FYE 31 Dec 2023, Bursa Malaysia has developed a Centralised Sustainability Platform (Platform) in collaboration with LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group).
The deployment of the Platform by Bursa Malaysia will take place in April 2023, in collaboration with UMW Corporation and Maybank.
The Platform is a repository for the ESG disclosures of PLCs.
It is envisaged that the Platform will aid corporates in meeting regulatory requirements, facilitate greater transparency and consistency in sustainability disclosures and provide wider access to green financing products.
Education and awareness programs on the Platform will be available from mid-2023.
