Exploring New Horizons: MACD’s Strategic Collaboration with IIM
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to YBhg Datuk Nor Yahati binti Awang and the esteemed senior officials of the Institute Integriti Malaysia (IIM) for graciously hosting MACD’s visit. This marked the beginning of a profound engagement that promises significant strides in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Ground-breaking Agreements:
During discussions with Prof Paul Chan, MACD President, and MACD board members, Datuk William Ng & Ms. Reinushini Chandrasegaram, we collectively laid the groundwork for impactful collaborations. Notably, an agreement on the Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI) 2025 collaboration was reached, setting the stage for a transformative exchange of knowledge and expertise.
Strategic Collaboration with IIM:
Delving into the realm of strategic collaborations, our discussions focused on implementing initiatives that emphasize integrity and good governance. A highlight was the proposed implementation of the Malaysian Corporate Integrity System (CISM) in private organizations. This initiative aims to assess integrity levels, fostering a work environment conducive to ethical practices aligned with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) standards both nationally and internationally.
Promoting Integrity Beyond Borders:
The proposed CISM implementation signifies a profound commitment to global integrity practices, ensuring adherence to the highest ethical standards. This collaborative effort, involving dedicated teams from both MACD and IIM, aspires to drive positive change by championing ethical practices and fostering governance excellence within the corporate sector.
As we embark on this journey of collaboration, MACD looks forward to a future where shared expertise and values create a business environment that truly exemplifies integrity and excellence. Stay tuned for further updates as we progress in our commitment to promoting ethical practices and governance excellence.
