In September, Singapore played host to an exceptional convergence of global governance minds — the Global Directors Exchange Singapore 2025 — held in conjunction with the Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI) Meeting and the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) Directors Conference.

This three-in-one experience brought together leaders, directors, and governance professionals from around the world for a week of insightful dialogue, collaboration, and learning.

The GNDI Meeting, exclusive to the leadership of GNDI member institutes, united Executive Directors, Board Chairs, and key representatives to exchange best practices, strengthen collaboration, and advance the collective mission of GNDI — representing over 180,000 directors globally.

Meanwhile, the SID Directors Conference : www.sid.org.sg/gdx, the flagship event of the Singapore Institute of Directors, gathered more than 800 directors and governance professionals. Through keynote sessions, plenary discussions, and interactive learning zones, participants explored key themes shaping directorship today — from sustainability and human capital to digital transformation.

Together, these events created a seamless platform for sharing insights, strengthening partnerships, and shaping the future of global directorship. As a proud member of the Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI), MACD remains committed to advancing board excellence and strengthening the voice of directors across borders.
