Singapore, September 2025 – The Malaysian Alliance of Corporate Directors (MACD) was proud to be part of the Global Directors Exchange Singapore 2025, held in conjunction with the Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI) Meeting and the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) Directors Conference.
This week-long event brought together directors, governance leaders, and professionals from around the world to share insights, exchange best practices, and strengthen international collaboration in advancing board excellence.
The GNDI Meeting, exclusive to the leadership of GNDI member institutes, served as a key platform for dialogue among executive directors, board chairs, and senior representatives of director institutes from across the globe. Discussions focused on emerging governance trends, digital transformation, sustainability, and the evolving role of boards in a rapidly changing global landscape.
The SID Directors Conference, the flagship annual event of the Singapore Institute of Directors, drew over 800 directors and governance professionals. Participants explored critical issues shaping directorship today — from human capital and risk management to innovation and ESG leadership.
As a proud member of the Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI), representing more than 180,000 directors globally, MACD continues to play an active role in promoting board professionalism and governance excellence, both in Malaysia and internationally.
MACD commends the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) for hosting a well-curated and impactful programme that fostered meaningful connections and learning among global governance leaders.
